What I Can't Do All of the Moves Due to a Recent Injury/ Surgery?

      Zumba teachers, especially ours, are encouraged to know the participants in their classes.  There are many things they can tell about an individual, but it is best if you alert your teacher to any specific injuries or limitations.  Once known, our teachers will do their best to modify problematic dance moves to better fit your needs.

Is Zumba Only For Women?

     Not at all!  While dance based fitness classes do tend to attract mostly women, Zumba was actually created by a man!  Some of the most high energy dancers on he floor are guys who understand that fitness isn't always comprised of pumping iron in the gym.  Besides, don't single guys always look for an opportunity to hang out with women in a fun party atmosphere?

What Are Zumba Classes?


     Zumba Classes are a fusion of Latin dance movements and exercise that provides the ultimate fun workout experience.  Our Zumba classes here at Take The Lead are an hour long, so plan for at least 60 minutes from start to end.
